Corey Calicott, Associate Pastor, was born January 22, 1978. After 15 years of being religiously raised in the church and know about God, Corey came to the place of personally surrendering control of his life to the Lord Jesus Christ on March 21, 1993 in his bedroom with his dad. Corey has been on staff at FBC Redwater since 2000 and in a full time vocational role since 2002. His ministry involves overseeing a comprehensive youth ministry that involves 7th-12th grade, leading worship on Sundays, working with choir and worship band, in charge of maintenance and custodial needs, and assisting in pastoral duties. Corey has been married to his loving and faithful wife, Shelli since November 21, 1998 and the Lord has blessed their marriage with 4 children: Emilee (2000), Bethanee (2001), Alex (2004) and Kaylee (2005). Outside of church, Corey enjoys spending time with his family either relaxing or in their activities, playing golf, teaching his children and catching a movie on occasion. A motto that drives Corey is “Be excellent at what is good.”
