Joanna Thornhill, Children’s Ministry Coordinator, was born October 26, 1973. Joanna was 8 when the Lord found her. The Holy Spirit began to draw her during a summer revival and she began to ask her parents a lot of questions. That evening Joanna committed to never be in a place the Lord could not find her and she has been walking with Him ever since. Joanna came on staff in October 2009. Her ministry involves overseeing Children’s Ministry including AWANA, Vacation Bible School, Children’s Camp and Music Camp. Outside of church, Joanna enjoys reading, shopping at flea markets and trying new food and restaurants. A quote by Henry David Thoreau that motivates Joanna is, “…I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and when I came to die discovered that I had not lived.”
