The Food Ministry of FBC Redwater works to prepare a meal each Wednesday at no charge for all students participating in the after school program (WASP and Common Play) and for those who attend Adult Bible Study or volunteer in WASP, AWANA or with the youth ministry.
Church
During transition times in the life of the Church (deaths, surgeries, births, etc.), the Food Ministry steps up to help fill in the gap, whether that means taking a box of paper goods to the house of the bereaved, arranging for members to prepare meals or serving a meal at the church.
Community
Each month the Food Ministry, with aid from Harvest Texarkana, is able to distribute boxes of food to those in the Redwater community who are in need. Contact Connie Gregory for more information in helping distribute boxes or in receiving a box.
